Employment in a regulated non-commissioned capacity is permitted only upon submission of a substantially complete application, as defined in PSB Administrative Rule §35.21(b). In most cases, this will require, at a minimum, the submission of fingerprints and all required fees.
Employment as a commissioned officer or personal protection officer is not permitted prior to licensure.
Individuals must have a 'Registered or Substantially Complete Application' status and must be affiliated with and employed by a licensed company in order to perform regulated services. *PLEASE NOTE: Level III and Level IV Classroom as well as Firearm Instructors will not show an “affiliated” status. However all Level III and Level IV Classes and Firearm Instruction (including re-qualification) must be taught by licensed instructors and licensed schools.
